At Property Prepared, our work is driven by a deep-seated passion for every aspect of property—from restoring historic charm to transforming rentals into high-yield accommodations. Our journey began with a legacy of craftsmanship passed down through generations. My father, Alister Parkes, embarked on his career as a 16-year-old apprentice in Mayfield, Canterbury, in the early 1970s. Over the past 40 years, he honed his skills as a master builder, excelling in building, renovating, and designing properties with an unwavering dedication to quality.
His attention to detail and love for rejuvenating properties became part of who I am, shaping the vision behind Property Prepared. Our mission is to breathe new life into tired properties, whether they're transitioning to high-yield short-term rentals or getting ready for sale.
Our Journey
Eighteen months ago, we expanded our vision and launched a property management company, which today successfully manages 20 residential properties across the North Island. We’ve built trust with property owners by consistently delivering results that maximize rental yields and ensure properties are well-maintained and profitable.
